This version of the Earasers carry case is slightly smaller in diameter, but slightly longer than the non-lighted carry case. It holds the XS, Small, Medium Earasers well, but not the Large. With normal use the batteries should last approximately 6 months - 1 year and are not covered under the one-year warranty. The LED light is exceptionally helpful when trying to find things in dark places, like putting your Earasers on in a dark concert hall.
